How Cleanery products work

Cleanery products are delivered as concentrated powders. Add the powder to the appropriate bottle, fill it with water and shake.

Why powder?

Traditional cleaners are 90% water. Ours is
100% cleaning powder power. Removing that water reduces the packaging and emissions associated with making and moving the finished product. Powder dissolves easily, doesn't contain unnecessary binders and effervescents.

Made for the job

Cleanery products are developed for the job they need to do. Rather than using one base formula across the entire range, each product combines ingredients selected for its particular purpose.

The format is different, but the product still needs to perform. Removing the water changes how Cleanery products are packaged and transported. It does not change what they are expected to do.

Tested for performance

All Cleanery products are formulated and then rigorously tested for performance. One test Ceanery products undergo is the IKW tile test - this is a standardised European laboratory method for comparing cleaning performance. Tiles are coated with a controlled mixture of grease and dirt, heat-aged to simulate stubborn household grime, then cleaned mechanically under identical conditions. The amount of soil removed provides an objective measure of each cleaner’s effectiveness. Here's one example of how Cleanery measure up.
