I tried using another brand’s empty spray bottle but it clogs up and doesn’t spray. Do I need a specific spray bottle? Tried a couple of ones I already had with no joy.

Sorry to hear you had trouble with the product - this shouldn't be happening as they have been designed to be used in any bottle and does not require a specific bottle. Occassionally they will clog if you try and spray the bottle before the product has ben mixed up and dissolved properly. A good way to unclog spray heads is to submerge them upside down in water and to apply the spray trigger until they come clear.
